(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Hojjatoleslam Sadouqi, 62, was the Friday prayers leader in the central city of Yazd.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi and Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani also offered condolences in separate messages on the sad event.
The cleric died in a hospital in Tehran Saturday morning and his body was transferred to Yazd for burial.
Hojjatoleslam Sadouqi’s father, Ayatollah Mohammad Sadouqi, also the Friday prayers leader of Yazd, was martyred by terrorist MKO elements.
